CAMEL Welcomes Triathlon Olympian Joe Maloy to "CAMEL AWESOME PEOPLE" Program
Denver, CO – [June 4, 2025] – CAMEL Outdoor today announced retired U.S. Olympic triathlete Joe Maloy as the newest member of its CAMEL AWESOME PEOPLE initiative. The 2016 Olympian will test CAMEL's Soakor EX waterproof jacket featuring TOPEAK-TEX™ fabric technology during his outdoor activities, including mountain biking and trail running.
Maloy's athletic career speaks to CAMEL's performance ethos. After crashing in his first triathlon at age 12, he returned to the sport with determination, eventually winning Escape from Alcatraz in 2016 shortly after qualifying for the U.S. Olympic Team. Beyond competition, Maloy enjoys surfing, trail running, and family time.
